Class A Matting Manufactures the World’s most Technologically Advanced Matting
This technology provides constant real time access to:
- Data for Behavioral Analytics
- Customer Engagement
- Brand Exposure
- Customer Movement
- Traffic Patterns
- Traffic Count
- Customer Interaction Times
- Peak and Lull Times
- Mid Year Update will allow for Individual Tracking both Male and Female Adult
There are no size limitations and can be utilized inside or outside. Our technology provides a safe and fully interactive flooring that is perpetually updated to the cloud. All data is in real time. iData Mats detect presence, exact location, movement and direction of people and location of objects. We will implement a new software update that will allow for detection of male or female adult Mid Year 2017. The matting will tell when people enter, how many people have entered, their location, and direction of movement and eventually identify each individual male or female adult by tracking their unique individual foot prints.
The data once analyzed provides users with a unique insight into how floor space is utilized. Insight and feedback will help people optimize business processes and make better decisions with regards to floor lay-out, advertising, opening hours, staff levels, etc.
In addition, mats can provide building management, retail, security or other automation systems. The sensors can be used to direct cameras, open doors, switch on lights, etc., without the need to have detection and motion sensors throughout a home, store or building.
HOW IT WORKS.
We incorporate technology that Sencorables developed with a fundamentally different sensor technology that measures force and pressure distribution. There are 340 sensor points per square yard in our style 340. Based on shoe width, length, gait, and pressure it creates a “3D” or “Digital” footprint that allows us to detect presence, movement and direction of individual people in real-time. The data is sent to the Cloud via a wireless connection. Currently it requires a 5 watt power cord but a rechargeable battery option will be available soon. Battery option will be rechargeable and last 6 months to 1 year depending on usage.
The Sencorables sensors are made of a proprietary UHMW Polymer plus Carbon and are embedded into a spun bond non-woven material which pass the British Spill Test (Method E) at 10,000 impacts. The fabric is very durable, being able to withstand more than 2000 pounds of weight per square inch on floor surface. We combine this technical fabric with a high traffic matting to make iData Mats with unmatched longevity and accuracy.

All Data is in Real time and reports can be customized to your specifications. Data is gathered wirelessly and sent to the Cloud via Microsoft Azure. The data is analyzed and available to view via a custom portal. See examples of our current portal and data views below.
Frequently Asked Question
The largest standard size we produce is 10’ 8” (3.25 m) by 32’ (9.75 m). Larger or custom mats are available upon request. Mats can be daisy chained or linked via software or cabling.
WHAT IS MEASURED?
The data represents the weight on the mat at set intervals. The force readings given are relative to a “tare-value” that is determined at device startup and at other intervals controlled by software. This allows for non-moving objects to be zeroed out so their weights are not constantly being transmitted.
WHAT IS THE MEASUREMENT RATE?
We scan the mats approximately 10 times per second.
WHAT IS THE MEASURED RESOLUTION (DATA GRID)?
The standard mats give one reading every 16 square inches. Please note that we have the option to make the data grid size whatever we wish, to suit specific conditions. Current mat 340 sensors per square yard.
HOW OFTEN IS DATA TRANSMITTED?
The data is posted every second, if there is any data recorded. This is a cloud setting that can be changed for individual devices or multiple groupings of devices. If there are no readings above the force threshold (i.e. no activity on the mat or floor), no data is posted.
WHAT IS THE DATA VOLUME?
The data volume depends entirely on the amount of time the mat or floor is occupied and by how many occupants.
DO THE MATS NEED TO BE ONLINE CONTINUOUSLY?
We do not currently cache data when offline but soon will have the capability via remote wireless firmware updates to cache data when offline.
IS INTERNATIONAL ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPORTED?
We supply a 5V adapter that for international shipments includes interchangeable plugs for international receptacles.
HOW IS THE WIFI DATA TRANSMITTER CONNECTED OR SUPPLIED?
We offer two different options. As a standard, we embed the electronics in the mat with a 5V power/data adaptor cable. Alternatively, we offer the electronics in an encasement which is hard wired to the mat.
