Manufacturing Process

ProFab Manufacturing Facility

Class A matting is a subsidiary of ProFab Technologies, Inc. ProFab is a state of the art conversion facility located in Dalton GA. We manufacture our products in our 110,000 square foot facility. Utilizing CAD Driven water jet cutting machinery we produce the most graphically intense and accurately sized matting available in the inlay industry. Inlaid matting is created to maintain it’s look and functionally for the life of the product. The mat images can’t be worn off – a characteristic of printed mats. Due to the nature of the inlay process, images last the life of the mat. Images are cut like a large puzzle and all the pieces are hermetically sealed. Mats are then backed to meet strict environmental outdoor standards utilizing our unique high coefficient of friction natural rubber. The longevity of our matting is unmatched in the industry. All edging is ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant. Edging corners are guaranteed for the life of the mat to not split or curl. Most edgings (depending on style and aesthetics) are glued and sewn on to to prevent removal by hand or abuse. Every mat produced is shipped on a 10″ core for safe storage and handling. This allows the matting to lay flat upon arrival without the need for long acclimation periods. ProFab is a state of the art conversion facility specializing in conversion of Commercial Matting, Artificial Turf, Exhibition Flooring, Rubber sheet/granule, and Marine flooring. We designed and built the largest and fastest water jet cutting machine in North America. We can easily cut 20 feet in width and 52 feet in length without the need to reposition material. We run at speeds greater than 2500 lineal inches per minute and exceed Mach 3 (60000 psi) at nozzle cutting tip. We have an accuracy of 1/1000″. This allows us to minimize cuts/waste and produce highly detailed designs.
